Valley Mills Elementary Raises Over $4,000 for the American Heart Association

Valley Mills Elementary Raises Over $4,000 for the American Heart Association Valley Mills Elementary did an awesome job jump roping for the American Heart Association. They raised well over their goal of $4000. The students with the most jumps were: PK--Kynleigh Mattair K--Dashiya Charity, 1st--Isabelle Bland, 2nd---Dakota Tice. The homeroom that raised the most money was Ms. Haas’ with $1090. Mrs. Jaimes’ class was next with $548. The student who raised the most money was Will Boles with a big total of $735. Our students are amazing! Each of them have big hearts and are caring and supportive of others and organizations that are in need. We are proud of Valley Mills Elementary and the hard work of sponsors Coach Enderlin, Coach Vannatta, and Mrs. Denton!

Band Students Receive 1st Divisions at UIL Solo and Ensemble Competiton On Saturday, February 28th the Valley Mills High School Band had 10 students receive 1st Divisions on their solos at UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition.
Band to Compete in Concert and Site Reading Contest

Band to Compete in Concert and Site Reading Contest The Region 8 West Zone UIL Concert and Site Reading contest will take place at Cameron Yoe High School on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Valley Mills performs at 12:00 pm.

GED Classes Offered at Valley Mills Elementary

GED Classes Offered at Valley Mills Elementary GED Classes are now being offered for the community at Valley Mills Elementary School. Class time is open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm each Monday evening. For more information, please contact Shelley Sonntag at the elementary campus at (254)932-5526.
