Tools for Parents in the 21st Century” on 2/28/12 from 6 to 8 pm. This program is to inform parents of the connection between bullying, social media and internet safety that our kids face. It is free to the public so please reserve your spot today. Call 254-297-1125 for Melva Harris or 254-397-1253 for Anna Elkins for reservations. Free child care will be provided with a reservation along with a light meal for these children.

FAFSA Workshop
Feb. 16, 2012 @ 5:30 to 7:30 at Valley Mills High School Library
This is a night for Seniors and their parents to actually fill out their FAFSA online with the help of
Robbie Stabeno & her staff with the MAC foundation.
Please come prepared by bringing your 2010 or, if possible, 2011 Tax Return.

All High School Students & Parents – College Night at VMHS is 2/9/12 and 2/27/12, the library will be open for help on college applications, financial aid help, scholarship assistance & SAT/ACT preparation. If you are unable to attend, please let the counselor know and the time can be extended or meet on another date.
ASVAB scores will be released and explained by the organization who administered the assessment
at 5:00 in High School library.
If you were unable to attend the ASVAB meeting in January, Mrs. Bryant will be repeating the instructions on how to interpret you ASVAB scores on 2/9/12 at the high school library from 5 to 7.
