Update- The Lady Eagles lost to Sulpher Springs North Hopkins in the class A region II regional semi-final round Saturday.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls track team who competed in the Region II-IA meet in Abilene.

Garrett Trammell qualified for the state meet getting 2nd in the high jump with a jump of 6' 6".

Lacie Dorman also finished 3rd in the triple jump with a jump of 34' 5½". The Girls 4 x 200 meter relay team of Jessica Beebe, Katlyn Eccleston, Abi Jobe, Lacie Dorman, and Kristen Gonce ran their season's best time of 1:54.20 to place 10th. Ellen Deeley placed 10th in the shotput with a throw of 33' 8½". Justin Nix placed 14th in the shotput with a throw of 39' 8".

The state meet will be held at Mike Meyers Track and Field Complex on the University of Texas campus. Lacie will compete in the 1A Long Jump on Friday June 5th at 12 noon. Garrett will compete in the 1A High Jump on Friday June 5th at 8:00 p.m.
